Historical Lectures

        Tuesday, September 9th, 2008, at 7:30 PM

Frank Crawford has spent a lifetime researching the Civil War, and he will present a lecture entitled "A Defense of Ambrose Burnside at Antietam."  This controversial topic is a revisionistic view that challenges the common opinion that Burnside's leadershop was lacking at the battle of Antietam.  The lecture follows a short meeting of the McHenry County Civil War Round Table, held at the McHenry County Museum, 6422 Main Street, Union, IL.  For a map and more info, go to www.mchenrycivilwar.com .
